Vintage Majex with Gold Plated Case & Calibre 105 Movement Sold as Seen
Here is a vintage Majex gents dress watch most likely dating to the 1950s or 60s. Majex was a brand name given to watches which were imported by Marchand & Jobin of Hatton Garden in London.
This particular watch is being sold as seen for spares & repairs or a donor for a project as it is currently not running. There is movement in the balance wheel but other than that the watch has completely stood still.
The case is manufactured from gold-plated metal and is in fairly good condition barring a few minor signs of wear. The dial has completely weathered over this long period and the Majex logo is only slightly visible.
The movement inside is a manual wound calibre 105, we haven’t been able to find much about the origin of this movement or the watch in general.
