Maynard Linder Ulu Knives are handmade in Homer, Alaska from carpenters’ handsaw steel with a high carbon content. This type of steel is preferred for its lightness, flexibility and ability to take and maintain a razor sharp edge.

The handles are securely attached with brass rivets, ensuring they will withstand a lifetime of use and provide maximum stability.

The Ulu can be sharpened with a diamond steel, or a medium Arkansas stone
