Van Gogh’s Almond Bracelet from Larissa Moraes is handmade in 18k yellow gold with a matte finish and features 0.91ct of rutilated quartz.The beige hue of the almond blossoms in Van Gogh’s painting were a challenge to replicate. Researching, the designer discovered that the flowers that he had painted were actually white with small yellow stigmas.We found that rutilated quartz with its golden lines caused the same effect seen in the almond blossoms. The asymmetry of the branches was recreated in the shaping of the gold.
