TheTutima Flieger Chrono 783/753 in Fantastic Condition and Sold with its Original Box and Papers, c.1990s

Released by Tutima in the early 1990s, the Classic Flieger Chronograph was the first re-issue of the 1941 model and incorporated the benefits of modern technology and contemporary materials.

Whats On Offer

This Tutima is in superb pre-owned condition and is sold with its box and papers (no card so we cannot date it perfectly accurately). Powered by the Valjoux 7760 hand-wound chronograph and the watch’s functions include

• Hours, minutes, sub-seconds at 9 o’clock
• Sweep second chronograph seconds hand.
• 30-minute chrono register at 3 o’clock.
• Coin edge, rotating bezel with (originally) red time marker – can be used for measuring elapsed or countdown time. This has sadly worn away but could be re-applied by a watchmaker should you so wish.

The case is crafted from stainless steel with a matt satin finish and shows few signs of very light wear. The crystal is convex domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal and is blemish free. The dial is a nice rich black, and has high-resolution minute chapters. Sub-seconds at 9 o’clock, the 30-minute chrono register is at 3 o’clock.
