Runic inscriptions are steeped in history and tradition, but Sheila gave her Runic jewellery collection a contemporary twist using enamel colours with her silver and gold designs. Sheilas iconic Runic Iris design that reads reflecting times past and present is based on inscriptions found in Maeshowe, a chambered cairn built in Orkney around 2800 BCE, and was the main inspiration behind Sheilas silk scarf design.
