The watch needs a service, reflected in this retail price, but it is a good and honest example of a dress watch with a neat cabochon crown, now seen much more commonly thanks to designs by Cartier, amongst others. The clasp is secured by an old-fashioned pocket-watch style chain to ensure that the watch stays on the wrist if it unfastens.
