Whats On Offer
On offer for sale here, is aseldom-seen Porsche Watch, produced in collaboration with Eterna in Switzerlandduring the 1990s. These watches are really rather rare nowadays and demand relatively strong money as they are so sought after by Porsche enthusiasts and vintage watch collectors alike – and it’s little wonder, they are timeless in design and as with all Porsche products – made and designed incredibly well, as you would expect from both Eterna and Porsche.
Porsche Design watches are usually Swiss-made collaborations and this one contains an Eterna ETA 251.272 quartz mechanism. This is a fine example in fantastic condition with no obvious signs of wear. At 38mm, it’s a perfectly sized watch but it feels more substantial on the wrist. The dial is looking incredibly sharp with a functional chronograph design, incorporating a subtle date aperture, slim pencil hands and a sporty punch of red on the sweep seconds Chrono hand. The hour plots boast lume for visibility and the hands also sport lume inserts. This is a great bit of kit with so much collectibility, we do not expect it to be around for long, especially in such pristine condition. The last one we sold went within days of being listed, so don’t let this slip through your net!
