What’s on Offer
This beautiful Longines Conquest is charming, the dial is furnished with gilt arrowhead hour markers and stylish Dauphine hands with slim luminous inserts. The dial has taken on some patina across the central pinion and outwards – as a vintage watch collector we are sure you will appreciate the joy of seeing this natural age process. The dial is rather opulent with its gilt hour markers and wears beautifully on the wrist, it is certainly full of character.
The case is crafted from polished stainless steel and is in superb condition given the watch’s age of near on 70 years. To the case back you will note the watch displays a distinctive feature the “gold seal of Longines quality” which was a guarantee of quality specific to the original Conquest line. There are two versions of the medallion: that used for the models in gold is in the form of a constellation and thatused for the models in steel represents a fish as you see here.
This is a wonderful vintage piece that would make a fantastic asset in any collection, and a beautiful watch to wear.
