This Flagstone pendant necklace in sterling silver features three segments of silver, hand-enamelled in our Orkney workshop. The design drops delicately from a sterling silver chain, measuring approximately 15mmby 22mm.

Sheila has always been very interested in geology, especially during her early years while studying at Edinburgh College of Art. Flagstonesor flagshave a unique texture and are used for fencing in parts of Caithness, with animals using them as shelter during the winter months. As the stones become weathered they acquire a beautiful colour and texture, and this aged appearance gave Sheila the inspiration for her Flagstone collection.
