This Flagstone pendant necklace inclassic 9ct yellow gold features three textured segments of gold, hand-finished in our Orkney workshop. The design is enhanced with a 2mm diamond and drops delicately from a9ct yellow gold chain. The pendant piece measures approximately 15mm by 22mm.

Sheila has always been very interested in geology, especially during her early years while studying at Edinburgh College of Art. Flagstonesor flagshave a unique texture and are used for fencing in parts of Caithness, with animals using them as shelter during the winter months. As the stones become weathered they acquire a beautiful colour and texture, and this aged appearance gave Sheila the inspiration for her Flagstone collection.
