This Flagstone pendant necklace in classic 9ct yellow gold features five segments of gold, hand-set in our Orkney workshop with a 2mm and 1.5mm diamond. The design drops elegantly from a gold chain and measures approximately 14mm by 40mm.

Sheila has always been very interested in geology, especially during her early years while studying at Edinburgh College of Art. Flagstonesor flagshave a unique texture and are used for fencing in parts of Caithness, with animals using them as shelter during the winter months. As the stones become weathered they acquire a beautiful colour and texture, and this aged appearance gave Sheila the inspiration for her Flagstone collection.
