Lovely Vintage Chevron Automatic with Textured Dial Dating to the Mid-50s
What’s on Offer
This is a very unique vintage gents Chevron dating to the mid-1950s which has some great character. We have been unable to find any information relating to this particular brand but is most likely a sub-brand of a pre-quartz Swiss company sold in a particular region. It is a classy watch that would be a great addition to a vintage collection.
The case is made from gold-filled steel with a screw-down stainless steel case back. Various signs of wear such as small dents and surface scratches are present on both the case and caseback, this is most likely due to its age and does not remove any beauty from its design. More gold accents can also be found in the dial in the hands and markers giving the watch an elegant look against a patina cream dial which also has a nice textured line finish in its perimeters. Shockingly the dial is broken up with a red coloured 36 hour marker which adds a touch of uniqueness not seen in most vintage dress watches.
This watch is powered by the Ebauche calibre 1382 automatic movement which appears to be in great condition and is fully running. Disclaimer the watch is sold as seen and may require a service to get it running more accurately. If you do wish for it to be serviced and by us we would be happy to do so for an extra cost, please leave a note with the watch upon placing your order.
