A Baume & Mercier 10005 Capeland Chronograph Wristwatch with Box & Papers
This beautiful example of a Baume et Mercier Capeland chronograph is both robust and sensitively rendered, with an exquisite silver-coloured, sun-satin finished dial, black Arabic numerals, and polished Feuille hands.
This Swiss-made, modern gents wristwatch features a three register chronograph and date wheel (situated between 4 and 5 oclock, the date is adjusted by a simple pump pusher on the left-hand side of the casing.)
The unpolished steel case with crisp, sharp edges and satin and polished finish is unapologetically large, measuring 42mm in diameter, and is surrounded by a stylish silver, non-rotating bezel with a polished mirror finish.
Reflecting the dynamism of the modern professional, this is an elegant yet masculine watch for todays man of ambition and taste.
Whats on offer:
This piece was purchased new by (a friend and client) its original owner who is an avid collector, in January 2018 from Owen and Robinson in Leeds, West Yorkshire. We are offering this watch with original boxes, paperwork, swing tag, manufacturers guarantee card, and instruction manual.
Sold with both its original unworn black calfskin leather strap and an alternate Baume & Mercier OEM, Alligator strap on deployant clasp.
The watch has barely been worn (in rotation) and this shows as there are only odd and very superficial micro marks that can not be seen easily with the naked eye. However these can easily be polished out, should you wish, but hopefully you can see that it doesn’t detract from the overall appeal and look of this stunning watch.
This piece has been worn on a black Alligator skin Baume & Mercier strap but is also sold with (original and unworn) an additional black Calfskin Baume & Mercier strap – both adjustable with a steel B&M signed deployant clasp.
The watch has recently returned from having been serviced by Baume & Mercier and is therefore running perfectly and will come with a 12 months guarantee for peace of mind.
