Kana Yamasaki grew up in the South of Japan in a city called Wakayama. Since moving to Alaska, Kana has found comfort in the small town pace of Ketchikan, away from the nonstop bustle of Japan. Her delicate style and meticulous attention to detail are simple reflections of her personality and culture. Kana enjoys working in pen and ink, acrylics, and other mediums, but watercolor is her favorite. We hope it’s yours too. Kana and her family make Ketchikan their home.
