A Beautiful Tudor Prince Oysterdate with a Stunning Midnight Blue Dial and Polished Steel Bezel, Paired with its Original Tudor Bracelet, c.1976
Tudor watches were established in 1926 by Hans Wilsdorf, the founder of Rolex. The brand was created to offer the reliability and precision of Rolex watches but at a more accessible price point. Initially registered as “The Tudor” by Veuve de Philippe Hther, a Swiss watchmaking company, the brand was later acquired by Wilsdorf. In 1946, the “Montres Tudor SA” company was officially incorporated, marking the beginning of Tudor’s distinct identity in the watch industry.
The Tudor Prince Oysterdate is a classic timepiece born from the illustrious heritage of the Tudor brand, a sibling company to Rolex, both founded by Hans Wilsdorf. Introduced in the mid-20th century, the Prince Oysterdate quickly became synonymous with elegance and reliability, encapsulating Tudors commitment to producing robust and refined watches.
