A CWC W10 Military Issued Watch in Superb Vintage Condition with Original Military Markings and Beautiful Original Lume, 1976
CWC (Cabot Watch Company) was established in 1972 to supply timepieces to the British Ministry of Defence. When Hamilton ceased military contracts in the mid-1970s, CWC took over, producing robust, reliable watches for all branches of the UK armed forces. Known for their no-nonsense design and precise Swiss movements, CWCs military-issue watcheslike the G10, RN Diver, and chronographshave become icons of British horology. Today, they remain highly collectible and respected for their heritage and durability.
What’s on Offer
We are delighted to offer this superb example of the iconic CWC W10 a beautifully preserved military timepiece in outstanding condition. The dial remains a deep, rich black, with bold Arabic numerals that are crisp and clear. The original tritium lume has aged gracefully across the dial and hands, developing a wonderfully even, buttery patina. All the key hallmarks are present: the CWC signature, the T denoting tritium, and the military pheon symbol indicating Ministry of Defence property.
The brushed stainless steel tonneau-shaped case shows some honest wear, entirely consistent with its military service nothing that detracts from the watchs overall character or appeal. The caseback features its original military issue markings, further affirming its authenticity and heritage.
