What’s on Offer
This is such an unusual piece, a 10k gold-filled watch with a startling cobalt blue dial – a very striking combination indeed! The watch is slender in size at 30mm but it does wear larger on the wrist. The dial is fairly simple by design with quarter gold hour plots and Art Deco hands also in gold. The watch is paired with a beautiful rolled gold 5-link bracelet which wears beautifully on. The lugs create a rectangular frame giving the watch more proportion on the wrist. We have obtained an extract from the archives from Longines providing the documentation that this watch was first issued in 1969 to Longines-Wittnauer Watch Co INC which was Longines agent for the USA at that time. The other parts of the watch were produced locally under license from Longines. The watch is original and looks beautiful on the wrist – definitely a head turner!
