These petite Lunar Pearl stud earrings in sterling silver feature Sheilas textured Lunar cup-mark design. Each earring is hand-enamelled in ‘Mill Sands’ enamel and set with a pearl in our workshop in Orkney.

Lunar Pearl is inspired by the ancient art of our ancestors. Thousands of years ago at the Ness of Brodgar in Orkney, people carved hollows or cup-marks of various sizes in rough rock, perhaps to signify an event or to follow the passage of time as the moon waxed and waned. Sheilas designs are textured like the surface of rock, enamelled in a variety of colourways, and hand-set with an enchanting pearl.
