These petite Lunar drop earrings in classic 9ct yellow gold feature Sheilas textured Lunar cup-mark design. Each earring is hand-set with a 2.9mm ruby in our Orkney workshop and measures approximately 9mm in diameter.

Lunar is inspired by the ancient art of our ancestors. Thousands of years ago at the Ness of Brodgar in Orkney, people carved hollows or cup-marks of various sizes in rough rock, perhaps to signify an event or to follow the passage of time as the moon waxed and waned.
