This small Lunar pendant necklace in luxurious 18ct yellow gold hangs elegantly from a gold chain. The golden cup-mark design features a textured gold finish, created through a process called reticulation, and is hand-enamelled in Plum enamel. The design is approximately 13mm in diameter with a 15mm drop.

Thousands of years ago at the Ness of Brodgar in Orkney, people carved hollows or cup-marks of various sizes in rough rock, perhaps to signify an event or to follow the passage of time as the moon waxed and waned.
